About Jess
Jessica Manna is an accomplished dive professional with global dive experience spanning Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Iceland, Egypt, Oman, Australia, the Caribbean, and the United States. From reefs to wrecks, lakes to quarries, macro to pelagic, shore to boat or liveaboard, drysuit to skinsuit, and everything in between—Jess is simply happiest when sharing the wonders of the water with others. When you dive with Jess, you can expect an experience grounded in safety, best practices, skill development, marine life identification, and conservation. Jess has a passion for working with young (10–18-year-old), new, and returning divers. She draws inspiration from her mom, Shawn—who, before she passed away, was a licensed yacht captain, commercial able seaman, and master diver. Shawn raised Jess on a boat in South Florida and instilled in her a lifelong love of the ocean. Jess lives in the New York metro area with her diver-husband, Murali, and four non-diving pets!
